এলিয় যখন একথা শুনলেন তখন ভয়ে তিনি তাঁর প্রাণ বাঁচাতে ভৃত্যকে সঙ্গে নিয়ে যিহূদার বেরশেবাতে পালিয়ে গেলেন| তাঁর ভৃত্যকে বেরশেবাতে রেখে
